Lymphoma

Lymphoma

Your laboratory is working on a type of T cell lymphoma which is also associated with the development of follicular lesions in solid tissues, especially the skin. You are investigating the potential of immunotherapeutics to treat the tumor, eradicating both circulating tumor cells and solid tumor masses. Design a series of experiments that will allow you to characterize both the circulating and solid lesion associated lymphoma cells, with respect to phenotype, proliferative capacity and infiltration into solid tissues. In addition, design experiments to test the efficacy of the immunotherapeutic agents that you are investigating. When preparing your proposal, use 1 to 2 published papers as source of preliminary data to build your experimental design. The proposal should clearly state a testable hypothesis. Propose 2 to 3 specific aims, and ensure that your design contains testable predictions. When preparing the experimental design, make sure that the specific aims are related but independent of each other, so that the success of one in not dependent upon the other. Your proposal will be graded based upon the following criteria: (1) Research Plan; (2) Innovation; (3) Plan of Study; (4) Hypothesis; (5) Testable Predictions; and (6) Approach.
