K12 Adaptive Learning System Survey

 

We are going to do a survey on the current computer based “k12 adaptive learning system”. The object of this This survey will include two components:

  1. question databases. Investigate what question databases are available. These databases are collections of questions of Math, Science and/or ELA (English Language Arts). Any of them are open for free access or closed access only through a front-end.

  2. adaptive learning platforms and algorithms. What learning systems, platforms, algorithms or applications are available to support adaptive learning of a student? Adaptive learning is defined as “it is an educational method which uses computers as interactive teaching devices, and to orchestrate the allocation of human and mediated resources according to the unique needs of each learner.” Adaptive learning basically recognizes each individual student’s achievement and performance, and then accordingly provide customized learning path for the user.


 

The submission should be a report that discusses the specifications talked above. The references should be included at the end of the report. No page limit.
