And about the literature review I have done 6400 words and I wanted to be paraphrased even the tables also to add more 600 words about Oil and gas all around the literature review. Below is the feedback about the literature review that I have done so the writer can see it and do modify it. And 200 words summary at the end of the literature review.

Feedback on Literature Review.

  • Don’t use numbers for your citations / references, these sources should be included in the main text.

  • Don’t write in the first person ie.. I, we etc…

  • Use a numbering system for all headings and sub-headings rather than bullet points.

  • All figures, charts and graphs need to be fully referenced.

  • Page numbers required in citations when using direct quotes.

  • There are some key points raised and sources cited but in some places the work is quite descriptive. You need to offer a more critical appraisal of what the literature is saying, not just describe it.

  • Interesting comment you make about stakeholders having too much power… what do you mean by this ? Who are the stakeholders and what power do they have. Are you suggesting that it is only pressure from stakeholders that ‘force’ companies to be sustainable ?

  • Be careful with saying “the benefits of sustainability” you have to remain objective throughout. Perhaps use language such as the ‘perceived benefits, as suggested by….’. You will establish the benefits or otherwise from your research.

  • Overall a good effort, to summarise :

    • Be more critical of the literature

    • Make sure you deal with the issues in the literature you want to research so you can tie your work together with that of others.

    • In your summary, identify the key points relating to the topic that you are going to take into your research.
